Initial Consultation
You and I meet at your home to discuss your personal tastes. I discover what you like and create a meal plan specifically for you. Whether you like meat and potatoes type of meals, vegetarian entrees, or South Beach friendly meals…your plan is completely customized for you.
We will assess your kitchen to determine a few things. What type of containers do you have? I can use your current containers, purchase new ones for you (cost applied), or I can package your entrees in disposable containers (see pricing). Whatever works best for you. We determine how much refrigerator and freezer space that you have available. I can package your meals “family style” or in a smaller portion arrangement.
Preparation Day
I grocery shop. I bring everything, including cookware, to your home. Your meals are prepared in your kitchen using only the freshest ingredients. Everything is properly cooled and packaged according to your specific needs. I will leave heating instructions you. If the timing is right, I can leave your evening meal in a warm oven. Your kitchen is left sparkling clean and I take the trash with me!
Payment
I accept cash and checks. I am in the process of setting up a credit card system. Payment is due when we set the cooking date. A deposit for the groceries is also collected, then balanced out on the cook date.
Common Questions
What do I need to do?
Make sure that your kitchen is clean and that the refrigerator space is available. If you use “permanent” types of containers (such as glass casserole types), make sure that they are clean and available.
Do I need to be home?
You don’t need to be home. Most of my clients give me a key, which I keep very secure. You will never know that I was there, except for the fabulous food in your refrigerator and the wonderful aroma of a home cooked meal.
Is it a problem if I am at home?
No problem at all! I will need the private space of your kitchen to focus on preparing your fabulous meals.
What about my pets?
Pets are not problem as long as they are friendly. If you have pets that like to escape, please let me know so that I can be super careful not to let them out. Some clients like to put their pets in a special room on their cook day.
